MAN O' WAR SET NEW RECORD

"This is  another opportunity to serve"- Patriot Adefolahan Lekan The Man O' War Nigeria,Federal University of Agriculture,  Abeokuta(FUNAAB ) command had her passing out parade on Friday 4th of November 2016 at the university sports centre. Present at the event were the Deputy Dean of student Affair;Professor Olayanju,Director of Centre for Entrepreneurship Study ;Professor Dipeolu,Professor Atayese,Mrs Salami,Rev.Ward Osiboye of Oracle Christian centre (Camp), and several heads of paramilitary groups. Highlight of the events are induction of new patriots and war marshalls and also the induction of new executives of Man O' War Funaab command. However,Professor Atayese,Mrs salami and  Reverend Ward were inducted as new war marshalls. Also,the former Chief training officer,Kareem Ismail was made the assistant coordinator in chief of the organization, the past Secretary General of the organization, Adefolahan Lekan was inducted as the new Coordinator in chief

 "I must render my service", Comr.Joseph Oluwaseun The department of Business Administration FUNAAB chapter had their election today in the college of Management Sciences where proceedings commenced at exactly 11:00am, in the business administration 400level lecture room. The Election began with a brief dissemination of information towards casting a valid vote , and rules and regulations guiding the exercise by the Electoral chairman, Amadi Femi.   The enthusiastic students flooded the venue in utmost desire to cast their votes, making audible their loyalty to their respective candidates. Voting  got to a close as the Electoral chairman declared the results and pronounced Comr.Joseph Oluwaseun (Jay Jay) as the newly elected president of the Department . Internal crisis: FUNAAB sacks 23 staff

Samuel Awoyinfa, Abeokuta The Governing Council of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta on Thursday sacked 18 staff members of the institution while five others were also relieved of their appointments by the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Olusola Oyewole. The sacking, our correspondent gathered, came at the end of a meeting presided over by the Chairman of the Council, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe. It was further gathered that those sacked include three members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities of the institution namely, Lasun Somoye, Abdusalaam Sobbor and E.A. Bankole. They were said to be the ‘whistle blowers’ who allegedly wrote a petition against the management of the institution to the anti-graft agency – the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The trio had earlier been placed on suspension by the management of the institution since August 22 before this new development. Others affected were 10 executive members of the associat
