  The SUG CUP in conjunction with the directorate of sport hosted a Super-four basketball competition. The competition started at about 3pm at the basketball court of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta sport complex. Present at the event were the Directorate of Sport; Dr. Adebayo, the basketball coach and also the sport director; Com Aribo Dotun .

    The basketball players of the school were divided into four different teams with the minimum ten players namely: The Hawk, Warlords, Titans and Spartans. They played against each other in order to get points, in which the team with the highest point wins.

 Topnotch reuter interviewed the Sport secretary Comr. Aribo Dotun. Who said, "Basketball has been neglected in time past."
"I have not witnessed any basketball competition, so I felt it won't be a good idea for it to continue like that."
 He also emphasized that, "It has always been football, football and football."
In addition ," the objective of this competition is to encourage them and boost their morale in the game."
"  cycling and marathon race would follow, by then I know I have fulfilled 90% of my manifesto."

 "FUNAABITES love sports but they have not been given the opportunity",  Comr.Dotun concluded.

Transportation Issues In Funaab

     The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has provided luxurious buses also known as MANCOT for the transportation of both students and staff of the school during the weekdays. Cabs and Buses (shuttle) are also allowed into the school for the effective conveyance of students to and from the school during the weekdays and weekends. Despite all this, the transportation system in FUNAAB is still a major source of concern for the students.
