PRESS RELEASE FROM FUNAABSU
Fellow funaabites, the students' Union is using this conduit to inform funaabites of our observations on some issues affecting students especially those staying off-campus

we have gathered information that a robbery incident happened at gate yesterday where the robbers are armed and they carted away many valuables from  students ,sequel to this we advise funaabites to remain calm and be suspicious as we have addressed the issue to the appropriate quaters.

Secondly, we are using to inform students' who uses cooking gas to  please be conscious as the university health center  as at today received another student who got her face burnt due to explosion of cooking gas.

Lastly, we once again tell funaabites to pay the students' Union stipulated TRANSPORT FARE RATE as the students Union executives  cannot do this alone ,your cooperation can let us fight this EXTORTION to the finish

Transportation Issues In Funaab

     The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has provided luxurious buses also known as MANCOT for the transportation of both students and staff of the school during the weekdays. Cabs and Buses (shuttle) are also allowed into the school for the effective conveyance of students to and from the school during the weekdays and weekends. Despite all this, the transportation system in FUNAAB is still a major source of concern for the students. Speaking to our correspondent, few Funaabites express their concerns and requests regarding the transportation issues in FUNAAB.       Lawal Simbiat, a 200L student from the department of Microbiology stated in a brief interview “Most times, the transportation system in FUNAAB hasn't been something to write home about.
